Ketteriing Care Bureau Midnight Walk for Charity

Ketteriing  Care Bureau Midnight Walk for Charity

 

Sally Gunn, Gill Grilli, Chris Bewers and Debbie Allen from our Kettering Branch braved the cold weather to complete a 5K Midnight Pyjama walk in aid of five local charities - Cransley Hospice, Lakelands Day Care Hospice, Friends of Wren Spinney, Kettering General Hospital charity fund and Inner Wheel of Kettering Huxloe. 

 Sally the Registered Manager commented …. It was a great night which was supported by quite a lot of walkers.  We were looked after very well by the local police, The Rotary club– who made sure we kept to the right route, The Trading Post – providing hot chocolate and bacon butties and the Charity representatives themselves who were very supportive.

 

A special well done to Sally for completing the last mile with damaged ligaments after falling over some uneven tree roots !!!!   

In total they raised a very respectable£174.50
